Accessibility

A website that works for everyone.

We want every business owner to be able to learn about SwipeTheta and reach our team, however they use the web.

Our aim

Built toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

We design and test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA, and we keep improving it as we find gaps.

  • Keyboard and focus

Every link, menu, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the focused item is always clearly marked.

  • Motion you control

If your device asks for reduced motion, the site stops animating. The homepage payment sequence then appears as a simple sequence of sections, and it never hides the main message or the main action behind an animation.

  • An accessibility menu

The blue button in the lower left corner opens a menu that can enlarge text, raise contrast, switch to a more readable font, highlight links, pause motion, add a reading guide, and more. Your choices are remembered on this device.

  • Readable text and forms

Text is set for comfortable contrast, every form field has a visible label, errors are described in words, and your entries stay in place if something needs fixing.

  • Pictures and previews

Meaningful pictures have text descriptions, and every product preview is described for screen readers and marked Illustrative where it shows numbers.
